Official Italian Agency for AIFA Procedure

Any Italian pharmaceutical company supporting or participating in a congress abroad is subject to authorisation by AIFA, the Italian Medicines Agency, in accordance with the Italian Government Decree, Decreto Legislativo 219/06, Article 124.

The request for authorisation must be submitted no later than 60 days before the event start date. The appointed agency responsible for collecting applications from pharmaceutical companies and filing them with AIFA is:
