Abstract Submission

The Organising Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for Posters and Oral Presentations at Allergy School Bilbao 2024.

Abstract Submission Deadline: Monday, 10 June at 23:59 CET.

Please note that abstracts received after the submission deadline will not be considered.

Please note that there will NOT be a Late Breaking Abstract submission.

Abstracts will be presented only on-site in Bilbao. No online presentation will be accepted.

Submission

  • When entering the abstract submission system for the first time, you will be asked to create a MyEAACI account (if you don’t have one already). Through your MyEAACI account you will be able to access your personal page to submit one or several abstracts.
  • Upon submission, a confirmation email will be sent to the submitter’s email address. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please do not submit the abstract again. Instead, please contact the Scientific Secretariat abstract@eaaci.org for advice.
  • Declaration of conflict of interest: EAACI is committed to ensuring the integrity of scientific, educational, and research programmes. Abstract submission requires disclosure of any financial or other interest that might be construed as resulting in an actual, potential, or apparent conflict. The submitter is responsible for obtaining disclosure information from all co-authors, to be entered in the author section of the submission page.
  • IMPORTANT! The presenting author must be registered using the same email address which was indicated during the abstract submission.

General abstract information 

Original laboratory research, clinical research and case presentations are equally welcome. 

Presentation Formats 

Oral Presentation (OAS) 

The Oral Presentations will be featured during the selected sessions. As presenter you are required to prepare a MS PowerPoint presentation featuring the main findings of your work. 

Poster Discussion Session (PDS)  

The Poster Presentations will take place onsite in Bilbao (only onsite) in the poster area. Your poster will be available during the entire congress allowing all the registered participants to view it during the whole event. Each abstract presenter will have the opportunity to summarize their main findings and have short presentations of their work to the attendees interested during the Poster Discussion Session (PDS). 

Notification of acceptance 

A notification letter to inform you whether your abstract has been accepted or not will be sent by first week of July 2024.  

Registration and publication of abstracts 

If your abstract is accepted, you must confirm your participation to this meeting, register and pay before the given deadline. If you do not reconfirm your abstract presentation, register and pay the registration fee before the given deadline, your abstract will be removed from the programme.  

Accepted abstracts will be published in the online programme and EAACI website during the event. In order to have your abstract published on the website you need to be registered for the event by the given deadline.
