General Information

Badges and Identification
Each participant receives a name badge upon check-in at the registration desk. This badge should be always worn in order to gain access to the session rooms and other events. Please note that access to the meeting areas will not be permitted without an official congress badge. If you have lost your badge, a new one can be reprinted (with proof of your original registration) at the Registration Assistance Desk for an extra fee. Your badge will be scanned at the entrance to session rooms for CME accreditation and internal EAACI statistical purposes.

Insurance/Disclaimer
EAACI will not be held liable for personal injuries or for loss of or damage to property incurred by participants at the Allergy School Taormina, Italy event. Participants are encouraged to purchase insurance to cover loss incurred in the event of cancellation, medical expenses or damage to or loss of personal effects when traveling outside of their own countries. EAACI cannot be held liable for any hindrance or disruption of the event, proceedings arising from natural, political, social or economic events or other unforeseen incidents beyond its control. Registration of a participant implies acceptance of this condition. The materials presented at this continuing medical education activity are made available for educational purposes only.

Currency
The local currency is the Turkish lira (TRY). In Izmir, you will find an exchange desk at the airport as well as ATM machines around the city center.

Electricity
In Turkey the power plugs and sockets are of type F. The standard voltage is 220 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz

Language
The official language of the meeting is English.

Local Time
Izmir is in the Eastern European Time Zone (EET). Eastern European Time Zone (EET) is 3 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+3).

Mobile Phone Policy
Please respect the meeting policy and keep your mobile phones on silent in all meeting rooms.

Photography and Video
Kindly respect that photography and video recording in the session rooms is strictly forbidden.

Visa
Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Turkey.
If you need a letter of invitation, contact events@eaaci.org  after your registration fee is settled.
Please apply for a visa within a reasonable time prior to making your bookings.

Certificate of Attendance
The Certificate of Attendance can be downloaded after completing the delegate survey, which will be sent via e-mail after the event.

Photography, film and audio for event documentation and public reporting

By participating in the Allergy School 2023 the delegate understands that recordings of the digital content and the capture of images and videos to be publicly shared are prohibited.
