EAACI Certified Clinic & Research Centre
Defines the centres meeting both clinical and research requirements on a certain area of allergy and immunology, for example “EAACI Certified
Clinic and Research Center on Asthma”. These centers provide outstanding patient care as well as conducting impactful research and education on a specific area.

Main Requirements
- The centre should fulfil all the criteria necessary for ECCC on that topic
Minimum requirements:
- At least one member with an H-index ≥25 (Web of Science).
- At least 8 peer-reviewed research articles in the applied area (last 5 years).
- Access to a research laboratory (own or shared).
Further requirements
Plus at least 4 of the following:
- Published or contributed to at least 3 reviews, task force reports, or guidelines in the applied area (last 5 years).
- At least 2 ongoing clinical and translational research activities.
- Participation in at least 2 clinical trials or registries (last 5 years).
- Involvement in at least 1 multicentric study (last 5 years).
- At least 2 original manuscripts in Q1 or Q2 journals.
- At least 2 published translational studies.
- At least 5 national and 3 EAACI/international abstract presentations (last 5 years).
- A patent in the applied area (last 10 years).
- Affiliation with an MsD or PhD program in the applied area.
- Theoretical and practical courses on asthma and severe asthma for students and fellows.
- Regular public information dissemination on the applied area.
- Health advocacy activities in the applied area.
