The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology supports Ukraine’s academic and medical community

EAACI supports Ukrainian colleagues within the field of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. With these small gestures we would like to confirm our closeness to our colleagues, and to facilitate the continuity of the excellent science and research in allergology and immunology produced by our fellow Ukrainians throughout this incredibly difficult time.

In response to the war in Ukraine and in recognition of our responsibility to provide urgent support to Ukraine’s academic and medical community, EAACI has launched three initiatives:

• Free Membership for Ukrainian Members: EAACI is offering free membership to Ukrainian members or those working abroad with refugee status, with the aim of providing access to valuable resources during these difficult times. Membership with the EAACI provides numerous benefits, including access to a wide range of educational and scientific materials, opportunities to participate in international conferences and events, and support for research initiatives. Our members also have access to a global network of experts and can take advantage of various programs and initiatives aimed at promoting the field of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Existing members can claim refund for the year 2023, and new members can sign up on: my.eaaci.org.
• EAACI – Ukraine Fellowship 2023: This is a special solidarity initiative dedicated to supporting Ukrainian clinical and basic researchers, as well as researchers of other nationalities working in Ukraine who are affected by the invasion and intend to pursue joint research and clinical projects with members of the EAACI in Europe. The EAACI Fellowship offers support for a duration of 3 to 6 months under a specific EAACI-Ukraine Fellowship scheme. The Fellowships support research and medical specialty of EAACI Members from Ukraine up to the age of 40 years in another European country. Through these programmes, the work of EAACI Members from Ukraine is highlighted through increased publication activity and a dedicated presentation during the EAACI  Hybrid Congress 2023. • Free registration at the EAACI Annual Congress 2023: Ukrainian delegates are also eligible for free physical and online registration for the EAACI Congress 2023, which will be held in Hamburg, Germany and online. This is a unique opportunity for Ukrainian members to participate in the congress, engage with international experts, and contribute their knowledge and expertise to the largest event in the field of allergy and immunology. Register here.
