Abstract Submission
The Organising Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for Posters and Oral Presentations at PAAM Hybrid 2023.
Abstract submission will open soon and will be open until 18 September 2023 at 23:59 CET.
Please note that abstracts received after this date will not be considered.
Please note that there will NOT be a Late Breaking Abstract submission.
Abstracts will be presented only on-site in Porto. No online presentation will be accepted.
The abstracts accepted for the event, will be published on a PAI supplement after the event.
General abstract information
Original laboratory research, clinical research and case presentations are equally welcome.

Oral Presentation (OAS)
The Oral Presentations will be featured during the selected PAAM Hybrid 2023 Sessions. The presentation will consist of 12 presentations of 8 minutes each and each followed by 4 minutes for Q&A. As presenter you are required to prepare a MS PowerPoint presentation featuring the main findings of your work.
Poster Discussion Session (PDS)
The Poster Presentations will take place onsite in Porto (only onsite) in the poster area. Your poster will be available during the entire congress allowing all the registered participants to view it during the whole event. Each abstract presenter will have the opportunity to summarize their main findings and have short presentations of their work to the attendees interested during the Poster Discussion Session (PDS).
Poster Discussion (PD)
The posters that will be not included in the Poster Discussion Session (PDS) will be available for display during the entire congress.
Notification of acceptance
Notification of acceptance or rejection of the abstract will be sent to the presenting author of the abstract by 6 October 2023.
Accepted abstracts will be considered for oral or poster presentations.
The presenting author receives all information concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing all other co-authors of the status of the abstract.
All abstract presenters will be asked to reconfirm their attendance after receiving the notification. If you do not reconfirm your abstract presentation, register and pay the registration fee before 9 October, your abstract will be removed from the programme.
Registration and publication of abstracts:
The presenting author of an abstract must register for the onsite congress. Until 4 October 2023 the presenting author is offered a special extended “early fee”.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the online programme, EAACI website and EAACI content platform during the event. Publication of the abstracts as a supplement in the PAI Journal will be done after the congress. Please note that your abstract will only be published in the PAI journal if the abstract is accepted, uploaded/presented, and the presenting author is registered using the same email address used for abstract submission. In order to have your abstract published on the website you need to be registered for the congress by 4 October 2023.
