Scientific Programme

The EAACI Spring Meeting 2026 scientific programme will span three days and include plenary sessions, parallel symposia and dedicated junior member activities. The content will highlight emerging research, advanced diagnostics, novel therapeutic strategies and practical approaches to patient care in allergy and clinical immunology.​

Abstract-based sessions, including oral presentations and poster discussions, will showcase cutting-edge work from established experts and early-career investigators. The programme will be structured to encourage interaction, with time allocated for questions, panel discussions and networking, ensuring a stimulating learning environment for all participants.

Upon completion of the EAACI Spring Meeting 2026, participants should be able to:

  1. Define the concept of prevention and its key elements.
  2. Be aware of the concept of “fourth prevention” (prevention of relapses).
  3. Implement preventive strategies in the treatment of major allergic diseases, including asthma, atopic dermatitis and food allergy.
  4. Integrate novel therapeutic approaches with preventive measures in daily clinical practice.
  5. Understand the current and prospective implications of immunotherapy in the prevention of allergic diseases.
  6. Recognize the potential role of the microbiome in the prevention of allergic diseases.
  7. Be aware of the precautions that should be taken to prevent the development of comorbidities.
  8. Consider the available options to modify the natural progression of allergic diseases.
