Clinical and Translational Allergy is a pioneering initiative to make high-quality peer-reviewed research and reviews on allergy and related subjects available to clinicians, scientists, and the public in an open-access format. Advances in allergy and immunology are being made in the clinic and in the laboratory at a rapid rate. CTA provides the platform for rapid dissemination of these findings to a wide audience to provide the greatest impact and benefit to society.

EAACI takes pride in being a global leading reference body for scientific, health and political organisations in the field of allergy and asthma, as well as our now over 16‘000 members.
Given the increasing significance of the EAACI social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, they remain pivotal to our communication strategy. We are dedicated to enhancing our online engagement and look forward to further expanding these efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive Engagement & Awareness: Increase EAACI’s presence through high-quality, science-based content to boost followers, impressions, and interactions.
- Promote Allergy Awareness: Use social media to raise continuous awareness of allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology supporting EAACI as the leading voice in the field.
- Content Creation: Develop visually engaging posts to generate higher views, increase website traffic, and promote EAACI’s latest publications and activities, including active involvement in social media coverage of EAACI’s events.
- Analytics & Optimisation: Utilise analytics to drive more informed decisions, enhance our social media impact, and strengthen the EAACI online community.
- Explore New Tools: Stay updated on emerging social media platforms and tools to advance EAACI’s digital presence.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be creative and passionate about marketing and communication.
- Understand and respect the EAACI structure, mission, and scientific output.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with EAACI leadership, the Marketing & Communications team, and external partners.
- Already be an allergy social media advocate or influencer.
- Demonstrate a commitment to advancing EAACI’s vision through innovative and timely social media strategies.
