It is a great pleasure to invite you to the EAACI Skin Allergy Meeting 2027, taking place in Paris from 11 to 13 March 2027.
Skin allergy is changing rapidly. New biologicals and targeted treatments, a better understanding of disease mechanisms, and the growing interface between allergy, dermatology and clinical immunology are transforming the way we diagnose and treat our patients.
SAM is where these worlds meet.
Across three days, SAM 2027 will bring together leading experts and emerging voices in skin allergy, mast cell diseases, urticaria, angioedema, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis and drug hypersensitivity. The scientific programme goes beyond presenting what we already know: it will explore what is changing, what remains controversial and what may change our clinical practice tomorrow.
A particular strength of SAM 2027 is its diversity of disciplines, countries, generations and perspectives. The collaboration with ESCD and ISAD further strengthens the dialogue between allergy and dermatology and reflects something fundamental at EAACI: the most relevant scientific questions rarely belong to only one speciality.
This is what makes SAM such an important part of the wider EAACI scientific ecosystem. Our Annual Congress brings the whole community together; our Focused Meetings allow us to go deeper. SAM is not simply a smaller congress. It is a focused, interactive, and multidisciplinary scientific experience, close to the people who are shaping the field. That closeness matters. Some of the best moments happen not only on stage but also in the questions, discussions, and encounters that continue beyond the sessions. For younger colleagues, SAM is also a place not only to listen, but to take part in the conversation.

Welcome message from the Organising Committee
Dear Colleagues,
Dermato-allergology is rapidly evolving, and SAM 2027 will place you at the forefront of these advances. Over three intensive days, leading international experts will discuss the latest developments in chronic spontaneous and inducible urticaria, hereditary and acquired angioedema, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, mast cell disorders, and severe cutaneous drug reactions. Participants will gain new insights into disease mechanisms, diagnostic challenges across all age groups, the impact of environmental change on the skin microbiome, and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in dermatology and allergology.
The programme covers the full spectrum of immunoallergic skin diseases and their differential diagnoses. It is structured around two major thematic days dedicated to urticaria and to atopic dermatitis and eczema, complemented by focused sessions on angioedema, contact dermatitis, mast cell disorders, and drug hypersensitivity. Each scientific session brings together speakers from different countries, ensuring a truly international and highly interactive educational experience.
SAM 2027 also offers innovative hands-on formats. In the Wake Up Your Mind sessions, expert panels will debate challenging real-life clinical cases supported by concise literature updates, encouraging discussion and practical learning. The Junior Members’ session will provide a dynamic forum for small-group discussions on digital medicine and the boundaries of skin allergy testing, reflecting the perspectives of the next generation of specialists.
A unique strength of SAM 2027 is its organization. This will be the first EAACI Focus Meeting jointly organized with both the European Society of Contact Dermatitis (ESCD) and the International Society of Atopic Dermatitis (ISAD), bringing together leading European and international experts in allergic and inflammatory skin diseases.
Before the official opening of the meeting, a dedicated pre-course on Thursday morning will offer limited-capacity, case-based workshops. Participants will learn how to use patient-reported outcome measures and other scores in atopic dermatitis and urticaria and will receive practical training in patch testing. Early registration is encouraged, as places are limited.
For the first time, this congress will be held in France, and we are delighted to welcome participants from around the world to Paris. In the inspiring setting of the Art Deco Palais d’Issy, SAM 2027 will provide an outstanding opportunity for scientific exchange, collaboration, and networking.
