Welcome Message from the VP of Congresses

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to the EAACI-ESCD Skin Allergy Meeting 2025 (SAM 2025), which will take place in the vibrant city of Bilbao from 27 to 29 March 2025. This meeting is a unique opportunity to gather and share the latest insights into skin allergy research, diagnosis, treatment, and management.

At SAM 2025, we will explore critical advancements in contact dermatitis, chronic urticaria, cutaneous drug hypersensitivity, mastocytosis, and atopic dermatitis, among other important topics. With skin conditions continuing to be some of the most prevalent allergic diseases, this meeting aims to address the ongoing challenges in dermatological allergy care and patient management.

This year, we are particularly excited to spotlight novel treatments for atopic dermatitis, focusing on individualized management based on phenotypes and co-morbidities. With new biologicals and targeted therapies emerging, SAM 2025 will offer insights into how these innovations are transforming the landscape of treatment for atopic dermatitis patients, including those with complex presentations like ocular disease. Our program includes in-depth sessions to discuss the implications of these advancements and how to integrate them into clinical practice for improved patient outcomes.

In addition, we will present cutting-edge sessions such as “What’s New in Contact Dermatitis 2025,” discussions on emerging allergens, the latest in chronic spontaneous urticaria management, and workshops on facial contact dermatitis and pediatric allergy testing. You will also find in-depth sessions addressing the differential diagnosis of hypersensitivities and the management of complex cases such as drug-induced angioedema and hereditary angioedema (HAE).
