Speaker, OAS and FT Presenter guidelines

Instructions for Speakers, Oral abstract (OAS) and Flash talk (FT) presenters

If you have been invited/selected to participate as a speaker in a Session at EAACI PAAM 2025 event, here is some information to help you prepare your presentation. 

All presentations will be presented onsite. The PowerPoint and video recording of the onsite presentations may be made available on the EAACI content platform (depending on the consent given).

 

General procedure 

  • As a presenter at EAACI PAAM 2025, you are kindly asked to prepare your presentation using the official PowerPoint template. 
  • Closer to the event date, each presenter will receive a personalised link via email to access their platform, where you will be able to upload your presentation. 
  • You are also required to visit the Speaker Service Centre onsite to check and verify your presentation. Please make sure to visit the desk well in advance of your scheduled session. 

 

How can I prepare my  presentation? 

  • Prepare your presentation using the PowerPoint template. 
  • Your presentation will be displayed in landscape orientation 16/9 ratio.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure and respect the author’s rights and person’s anonymity.
  • Please prepare your presentation to fit within your allotted presentation duration (discussion time not included).
  • Disclosure of conflict of interest* slide must be included in the PowerPoint presentation. The disclosure slide should be displayed and read to the audience at the beginning of your lecture.

*A conflict of interest is any situation in which a speaker or immediate family members have interests, which may cause a conflict with the current presentation. Conflicts of interest do not preclude the delivery of the talk, but should be explicitly declared. These may include financial interests (e.g. owning stocks of a related company, having received honoraria, consultancy fees), research interests (research support by grants or otherwise), organizational interests and gifts. 

 

Speaker Service Desk 

You must come to the Speaker Service Centre before your session to validate (or modify) your presentation(s). 

 

Opening Time of the Speaker Service Center  

  • Thursday 23rd : 7:30am – 6:45pm
  • Friday 24th : 7:00am – 6:30pm 
  • Saturday 25th : 7:00am – 2:00pm  

Location : Speaker Service Center – Floor 1 

 

Copyrights and content access 

In order to fulfil EAACI’s mission as a platform for scientific communication and education in the field of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, EAACI would like to make available presenters’ contributions from PAAM 2025 on the EAACI content platform for a period of 3 years. Nevertheless, it is the authors prerogative to grant EAACI authorization to use their presentation’s content after the event. Consent will be requested during the upload process to include the video recording (webcast) of your presentation.
