Abstract Submission

Further information coming soon

Instructions to Authors

Carefully read the guidelines before submitting your abstract.

Important Notes

  • Except for E-Poster Display Only, all abstracts must be presented onsite during the dedicated session at the Congress. No digital presentations are foreseen.
  • If EAACI does not receive your registration and payment by the given deadline, your abstract will be removed from the programme.
  • The presenting author must be registered using the same email address used during abstract submission.

Submission

  • When accessing the abstract submission system for the first time, you will be asked to create a MyEAACI account (if you do not already have one). Through your MyEAACI account, you can access your personal page to submit one or several abstracts.
  • Upon submission, a confirmation email will be sent to the submitter’s email address. If you do not receive this confirmation, do not submit the abstract again. Instead, contact the Scientific Secretariat at abstract@eaaci.org.
  • Declaration of conflict of interest: EAACI is committed to ensuring the integrity of its scientific, educational, and research programmes. Abstract submission requires disclosure of any financial or other interests that could represent a real or perceived conflict. The submitter is responsible for obtaining and providing disclosure information from all co-authors in the author section of the submission page.
  • Important: The presenting author must be registered using the same email address as in the abstract submission.

Abstract Format and Content

  • Abstracts and presentations must be written in English.
  • The maximum length allowed for an abstract is 2,500 characters (approximately 350 words), including spaces. The title, author names, and institutions are not included in this count.
  • Consent for publication of individual patient data: For abstracts containing identifiable patient details (e.g., gender, age, illness, location, or images), it is the author’s responsibility to obtain written informed consent for publication from the patient, parent/guardian, or relative. A statement confirming consent must be included in the abstract text.
  • Unpublished abstracts previously presented at another scientific meeting within 12 months prior to the EAACI Congress 2026 may be submitted if they contain updated or additional data.
  • Abstracts submitted for publication or to another meeting but still pending acceptance may also be submitted. However, once an abstract has been accepted by EAACI, it automatically becomes subject to the EAACI embargo policy.

Edit, Withdrawal, and Change of Presenter

  • You may edit your abstract until the submission deadline: will be available soon.
  • To withdraw an abstract, a written statement including the reason for withdrawal must be sent to the EAACI Scientific Secretariat (abstract@eaaci.org). Withdrawals after this date cannot be accepted.
  • Presenter changes can only be processed and must be requested via abstract@eaaci.org.

Notification of Acceptance

  • Notifications of acceptance will be sent to the presenting author.

Registration and Publication

  • The presenting author must register for the onsite congress. A special extended “early fee” applies to presenting authors.
  • To have your abstract published on the EAACI website, you must be registered for the congress.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the online programme, on the EAACI website, and on the EAACI content platform during the congress.
  • Abstracts accepted, presented, and linked to a registered presenting author will be published as a supplement in Allergy, the official EAACI journal, after the congress.
  • Note: Abstracts selected for E-Poster Display Only will not be published on the EAACI content platform or in Allergy.
