Delegates’ Accommodation

Complimentary accommodation in a shared twin bedroom will be provided at the meeting venue, Melia Sierra Nevada for 3 nights (15–18 January 2026).

If you select the accommodation opt-out option, NO accommodation will be booked for you, and EAACI will not be responsible for the booking or payment of your accommodation.

Please note:

• Additional hotel nights must be booked directly with the hotel at your own cost. EAACI will not book any accommodation outside the two nights mentioned above.
• The purpose of the Winter School is to allow maximum interaction between participants and speakers. Therefore, we do not encourage accompanying persons.
• If you would prefer to share a twin bedroom with another registered delegate, kindly inform us by 25 November 2025 at education@eaaci.org. Please include the name, country, and email address of the other registered delegate. Please note that requests received after this date will not be accepted. Kindly note, room allocation is subject to hotel availability, and EAACI cannot guarantee final room allocation.

Faculty Accommodation

Faculty accommodation will be booked at the meeting venue, Meliá Sierra Nevada, in rooms exclusively reserved for faculty members.

Travel and Transportation

Closest Airport

The nearest airport to Sierra Nevada is Granada Airport (GRX), located approximately 55 km from the venue.
The transfer from Granada Airport or Granada Train Station to Hotel Meliá Sierra Nevada takes about 1.5 hours, depending on weather and traffic conditions.

Complimentary EAACI Shuttles

EAACI will provide a limited number of complimentary transfers from Granada Airport and Granada Train Station to  Melia Sierra Nevada for delegates who register their interest in advance.

• Details has been shared via the logistics information email sent to all participants. Please check your mailbox for details.
• Arrival Transfers: 15 January 2026, according to the scheduled time that will be shared with you via email together with the final logistics information (only for participants who signed up in advance).
• Departure Transfers: Provided after the event concludes on 18 January 2026, starting from 12:45 (only for participants who registered for the shuttle service in advance).

Kindly note, participants departing earlier or later will be responsible for organizing their own transportation.

Arrivals via Málaga

Participants arriving through Málaga Airport are kindly asked to take a train from Málaga to Granada, where EAACI will arrange onward ground transportation to Sierra Nevada.
