Dr. Danny M. Cohn is an internist specialized in vascular medicine and head of the HAE clinic at the Amsterdam University Medical Center in the Netherlands, which has been accredited as ACARE by the GA²LEN/HAEi network since 2020 and as reference center from the European Reference Network for rare diseases. He graduated cum laude in 2006 at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam and received his PhD in 2010. He is a key opinion leader in the field of hereditary angioedema, has published over 120 peer-reviewed articles and has contributed to various international guidelines on this topic. Dr. Cohn treats over 170 individual adult HAE patients at his clinic and serves as principle investigator in multiple clinical trials. His other professional interests include the teaching of bachelor students and residents at the Faculty of Medicine.
