A Professor of Medicine, Allergy and Clinical Immunology, College of Medicine, Kuwait University. A Senior Consultant Allergist and Clinical Immunologist, Chairperson of Allergy Department, Al-Rashed Allergy Center, Ministry of Health. A Faculty Chair of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Fellowship Program, Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations (KIMS), Kuwait, and the founder and current president of the Kuwait Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Completed an internal medicine residency at University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada, followed by an adult allergy fellowship. She then spent one year conducting clinical research, focusing on respiratory diseases and asthma. Current research interests include allergic respiratory diseases and severe asthma.
