Professor and Chair of the Department of Paediatrics at the Medical University of Warsaw. Member of the Board of Directors of the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP).  Chair of the Section on Nutrition of the Polish Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. Previously, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition;  General Secretary of the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN); and Secretary of the ESPGHAN Committee on Nutrition. Research interests: pediatric nutrition, early nutritional interventions' effects on later outcomes (especially food allergy), gut microbiota modifications using various biotics.
