Professor of Medicine and of Allergy and Clinical Immunology in the University of Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.

His current research interests focus mainly on severe asthma and biologics in asthma.

He has been President of the EAACI in the term 2022-24 and is currently the EAACI Past-President.
