Dr. Rosa Munoz-Cano, MD, PhD, works in the Hospital Clinic (Barcelona, Spain) and is an accredited researcher of IDIBAPS (August Pi i Sunyer Research Institute). She is also an associate professor at the University of Barcelona. Between 2012 and 2015, she was a visiting fellow at the Laboratory of Allergic Diseases (NIAID) and the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoeskeletal and Skin Disease (NIAMS) at the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, USA). Her research focuses on the study of the underlying mechanisms of anaphylaxis, particularly in cofactor-related reactions. She is the author of more than 50 publications in indexed journals, half of them as lead author.
