EAACI Congress 2023 Back

I serve as Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Hacettepe University, School of Medicine and also consultant in Department of Pediatric Allergy in Ihsan Doğramacı Children’s Hospital, Ankara/ Turkey. Currently, I am a member of the executive committee of Turkish National Society of Allergy and Immunology. My research interests are primarily clinical as 1) drug hypersensitivity reactions in children, mainly in specific diseases and drug desensitization procedures 2) hereditary angioedema in children; epidemiology and genetic studies in type III hereditary angioedema 3) Food allergy; both IgE and non-IgE mediated (special focus on food induced proctocolitis). I am co-author of Task Forces and Position papers of EAACI on allergy to beta-lactams, antiepileptic drugs and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in children. I have authored several book chapters and publications in peer reviewed journals.
