I am a Chief of the Allergy Center and team leader of the Medical Support Center of Japan Environment and Children’s Study at the National Center for Child Health and Development (National Children’s Hospital) in Tokyo, Japan.

I graduated from the University of Yamaguchi School of Medicine, Yamaguchi, Japan, in 2003 (MD degree). I obtained her Ph.D. at the Department of Health and Psychosocial Medicine, Aichi Medical School, Aichi, Japan, in 2016. I am a board-certified pediatrician (faculty of Japan Pediatric Society) and board-certified allergist (faculty of Japanese Society of Allergology). I am a member of the Allergy Prevention Committee of WAO. My research interests are atopic dermatitis, epidemiology, adolescents, allergy prevention, and environmental health.
