EAACI Congress 2023 Back

Dr. George Konstantinou is a Military Doctor in the Greek Army, currently the Head of the Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the 424 General Military Training Hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece.

He received his MD degree from the Military Medical Academy and the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUT) in 1999. He did his specialization in Greece, the UK, and the Netherlands, and his postdoctoral training in the Division of Allergy and Immunology and the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

He has a Master in Biostatistics and a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a PhD from the AUT.

He is an Associate Editor in Clinical and Translational Allergy, Frontiers in Pediatrics, Frontiers in Allergy and an Editorial Board Member of The JACI: in Practice.

He is currently the Secretary of the EAACI’s Food Allergy Interest Group.
