Francesca Perego received the MD degree in University of Study of Milan, Italy in 2000, the specialization in internal medicine in 2005 and the PhD in Biomedical Statistics in 2014. From 2005 to 2018, she worked with the “ASST-Fatebenefratelli-Sacco Hospital” as medical doctor and from 2018 to now with IRCCS Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri, Milan as Head of Internal medicine Unit. She is the head of the tertiary center for outpatient service for patient with hereditary angioedema (HAE) that is the topic of her research, with a particular application to cardiovascular neural control. She is author of more than 50 papers published on peer-review international journals. She is the Principal Investigator in pharmacological clinical trial for the treatment of HAE. Her current H-index is 19 (source Scopus).
