Anna Nowak-Węgrzyn, M.D., PhD, FAAAAI, FACAAI is a Professor of Pediatrics at the New York University R. Grossman School of Medicine, the Director of the Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Division, Department of Pediatrics, the Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, New York, NY, and the Director of FARE Clinical Research Center of Distinction at NYU. Her research interests focus on egg and milk allergies, baked milk and baked egg diets, food-induced anaphylaxis in children, novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to food allergy (oral, sublingual and patch immunotherapy), oral tolerance development, and in particular food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES). In 2022, Dr. Nowak-Wegrzyn has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She is the current chair of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology Board of Directors. She is the Associate Editor for the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
