Speakers Support Programme: Empowering scientific collaboration across borders

The EAACI Speakers Support Programme is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening partnerships with national and international allergy and immunology societies. Through this programme, EAACI provides expert speakers to contribute to scientific events worldwide, promoting innovation, sharing best practices, and reinforcing the Academy’s leadership in allergy, asthma, and clinical immunology.

Purpose and Goals

This programme fosters global exchange of scientific and educational knowledge by sharing EAACI’s key outputs, promoting strategic initiatives, building partnerships, and enhancing cross-regional collaboration and visibility.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, the applying society must:
• Be a member of the NAIS Committee, the International Society Council, or have a valid Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EAACI.
• Submit the application at least 6 months before the event date.
• Provide waived registration for EAACI speakers.
• Feature the EAACI logo in all symposium promotional materials.
• Commit to English-language presentations in EAACI symposia (translation costs, if applicable, are the responsibility of the local society).

Speaker and Symposium Criteria

Each application must include:
• 1 to 3 speakers, all of whom must be part of the EAACI community.
• At least one speaker from the EAACI Executive Committee, who will formally represent EAACI at the event.
• Topics that are in line with EAACI’s latest scientific achievements or strategic priorities.

Additional Provisions

EAACI support and branding must be properly acknowledged in the meeting programme and communications.
