The Organising Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for Posters and Oral Presentations at the EAACI Symposium on Epithelial Barriers, Microbiome and Planetary Health 2026.

Abstracts received after the submission deadline will not be considered.
There will NOT be a Late Breaking Abstract submission.
Abstracts will be presented on-site in Cappadocia, no online presentation will be accepted.

Submission

When entering the abstract submission system for the first time, you will be asked to create a MyEAACI account (if you do not have one already). Using your MyEAACI account, you will be able to access your personal page to submit one or more abstracts.

Upon submission, a confirmation email will be sent to the submitter’s email address. If you do not receive the confirmation email, do not submit the abstract again. Instead, contact the Scientific Secretariat at abstract@eaaci.org for advice.

Declaration of conflict of interest
EAACI is committed to ensuring the integrity of scientific, educational, and research programmes. Abstract submission requires disclosure of any financial or other interest that might be construed as resulting in an actual, potential, or apparent conflict. The submitter is responsible for obtaining disclosure information from all co-authors, to be entered in the author section of the submission page.

IMPORTANT: The presenting author must be registered with the same email address used during the abstract submission.

General abstract information
Original laboratory research, clinical research, and case presentations are equally welcome.

Presentation Formats

Oral Presentation (OAS)
The Oral Presentations will be featured during the selected sessions. As presenter, you are required to prepare an MS PowerPoint presentation featuring the main findings of your work.

Poster Discussion Session (PDS)
Abstracts are grouped thematically into blocks of posters and displayed on-site. Presenters are available to discuss their work and answer questions from delegates and chairs alongside their posters.

Notification of acceptance
A notification letter to inform you whether your abstract has been accepted or not will be sent by the by 4 – 7 of September, 2026.

Registration and publication of abstracts
If your abstract is accepted, you must confirm your participation in this meeting, register, and pay before the given deadline. If you do not reconfirm your abstract presentation, register, and pay the registration fee before the deadline, your abstract will be removed from the programme.
Accepted abstracts will be published on the EAACI website during the event. In order to have your abstract published on the website, you need to be registered for the event by the given deadline.
