ISAF-RHINA 2025

20 - 22 November 2025
  • Porto, Portugal

Welcome message from the Organising Committee

We are pleased to announce that the first joint EAACI International Severe Asthma Forum (ISAF) and the European Rhinallergy Meeting (RHINA) Meeting will take place on 20 – 22 November 2025 at Porto, a World Heritage Site situated at the estuary of the Douro River and the centre for Port wine.

This event is unique and combines the state-of-the-art developments in rhinitis and severe asthma. The meeting also highlights how learnings in one area can help in our understanding of disease pathophysiology and treatment response in the other. The meeting has a wide variety of focused and joint sessions providing state-of-the-art practical and theoretical developments which will undoubtedly benefit your clinical practice.

This 1st joint meeting of ISAF and RHINA will appeal to a wide range of healthcare professionals, including a considerable number of dieticians and specialist nurses, as well as medical scientists. The meeting will be attended by internationally renowned experts who are committed to sharing new research and findings and coming up with solutions to the most pressing challenges in the pediatric field.

ISAF will further develop a community of professionals at different career stages who will work towards combatting severe asthma and improving the lives of those affected by it. We will gather scientists and clinicians with a wide range of experience, from junior scientists/doctors to key-opinion leaders, to discuss the most cutting-edge topics in the field. The combination of outstanding clinicians and researchers will provide an interactive and interdisciplinary dialogue that will foster the development of new peer-networks and facilitate the translation of emerging research findings into clinical practice.

RHINA has been meticulously crafted to facilitate clinical, scientific, and bench-to-bedside discussions among clinicians, scientists, and industry colleagues. This interactive interdisciplinary focus meeting will engender scientific collaborations enabling the translation of scientific and clinical advances in ENT, Allergen Immunotherapy (AIT) and biologicals in upper respiratory disciplines into tangible benefits for our patients.

Challenges in clinical practice, disease mechanisms and advances in novel therapeutics will take centre stage at ISAF-RHINA 2025. The programme emphasizes the collaborative approach of the EAACI ENT section and Asthma sections as well as the important support of other EAACI interest groups and sections. We extend a warm welcome to speakers and participants from across the globe, inviting you to share your knowledge, engage in enriching discussions, and contribute to a truly interactive interdisciplinary dialogue.

Welcome Message from the VP of Congresses

Dear EAACI colleagues and friends,

It is with great enthusiasm that I invite you to join us in Porto, Portugal, from 20 to 22 November 2025 for the EAACI International Severe Asthma Forum and European Rhinallergy Meeting (ISAF-RHINA 2025) – a unique joint meeting that brings together the latest advances in severe asthma and upper airway diseases.

This combined event reflects the growing recognition of the united airway concept and the importance of addressing respiratory diseases in an integrated, multidisciplinary way. Severe asthma remains a complex and heterogeneous disease, where ongoing breakthroughs in biological therapies, endotyping, and immunopathology are transforming clinical practice. In parallel, ENT and rhinology continue to evolve with advances in chronic rhinosinusitis (with and without nasal polyps), epithelial barrier dysfunction, and local immune responses directly affect asthma management.

ISAF-RHINA 2025 will provide an engaging and cutting-edge scientific programme featuring leading immunology, pulmonology, rhinology, and allergy experts. Expect interactive sessions, the latest data on novel therapies, and translational insights that will shape the future of care for patients with complex airway diseases.

Equally important, this meeting will offer an excellent opportunity for networking, mentorship, and exchanging ideas– all within Porto’s beautiful and welcoming setting, a city known for its history, innovation, and charm.

On behalf of EAACI, I look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an inspiring and impactful event at the crossroads of science, care, and collaboration.
