Dr Louise Fleming is a Reader in Respiratory Paediatrics at the National Heart and Lung Institute and Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician at the Royal Brompton hospital. She is a member of the GINA (Global Initiative for Asthma) Science Committee, founding member of the ERS supported Clinical Research Collaboration SPACE (Severe Paediatric Asthma Collaboration in Europe), member of the NHS England Children and Young People’s asthma oversight group (chair of the severe asthma workstream) and Asthma UK Senior Clinical Fellow. Her research interests include monitoring asthma, with a focus on adherence, phenotyping severe asthma and preschool wheeze and use of biomarkers. Clinically she looks after children with a wide range of respiratory problems
