Federico Lavorini is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, University of Florence Italy; he is also Head of the Respiratory and Critical Care Unit at the Careggi University Hospital, Florence, Italy. His research interests are control of breathing in health and disease, cough and inhalation devices for delivering aerosol medications. He is member of the Aerosol Drug Management Improvement Team (ADMIT) and of the Respiratory Effectiveness Group (REG).
