Zsolt I. Komlosi was born in 1975. He graduated as an MD (2000), and get his PhD degree in pulmonology (2008) from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. He is employed by the Semmelweis University since 2004, and obtained specialization in laboratory diagnostics in 2009. He became an assistant professor of Department of Pulmonology (2013) and associate professor of Department of Genetics, Cell- and Immunobiology (2020). He is teaching immunology and genetics to medical students. He was a European Respiratory Society fellow in Swiss Institute of Allergy and Asthma Research, Davos (2011–2012), and working altogether 30 months there as postdoc researcher. His current research is focused on role of innate lymphoid cells and small T cell subsets in allergic diseases and hematological disorders.
