After a PhD in plant molecular biology at the University of Rouen (France) and a doctoral research fellow at UC San Diego, Véronique Gomord has joined a french pharmaceutical company where she worked as research assistant for 2 years. In 1997 she joined Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) as « Chargé de Recherche » and was group leader from 2000 to 2009 in a CNRS research unit. Veronique’s scientific career has focused on cellular biology and plant biotechnology as illustrated with 12 patent families and about 60 international publications in these domains. V. Gomord is currently CSO and co-founder of ANGANY .
