Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, resourceful and meticulous, with established research experience of over 12 years in the fields of Cell and Molecular biology, HIV-1 Virology and Immunology of Allergic Diseases. Received PhD in Biotechnology from the Savitribhai Phule Pune University, India in 2017, for the work conducted at National Centre for Cell Science, Pune, India. Following PhD, moved to Sidra Medicine, Doha, Qatar in 2018, to join the Laboratory of Immunoregulation in the team of Dr. Nicholas van Panhuys, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. The past 6 years has been dedicated to studying adaptive immune cells, particularly the role of CD4+ T cells in allergic diseases like asthma and cow milk allergy. Has an extensive background in T cell biology research involving CD4+ T cell simulation, CD4+ T cell phenotyping, detection of rare antigen-specific T cells and cytokine profiling in patient samples. Skilled in flow cytometry, multiplexed cytokine profiling and several other immunoassays.
