Prof. Biedermann studied medicine and completed his specialty in Dermatology and Allergology at LMU Munich. He later acquired his postdoctoral qualification during a funding by the German Research Foundation (DFG) in Vienna. In 2003 he moved to the department of Dermatology in Tübingen, where he was appointed professor with a focus on immuno-dermatology and allergology. In 2013, he was appointed to his current chairman position at TUM for the department of Dermatology and Allergology.
