EAACI Congress 2023 Back

Dr Sladjana Andrejevic graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Belgrade. Her MSc study was on understanding the complex interactions between the immune and the nervous system at the Immunology Research Center of Belgrade. Since she wanted to apply her scientific skills to a role that would have a direct, positive impact on patient diagnosis and management, she got a job at the Clinic of Allergy and Immunology in Clinical Center of Serbia where she completed an internal medicine residency. She also gained her PhD which included a scientific research focused on the underlying mechanisms resulting in autoimmune disease. She is fortunate enough to have a very varied job that can be broadly divided into clinical, laboratory and education. Her clinical practice includes adult patients, seen for a wide spectrum of allergic and immunologic conditions. She is currently associate professor of internal medicine at Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade.
