Botanist with more than 30 years of experience in the analysis of dynamic, interaction with pollutants and effect of meteorological variable on atmospheric bioaerosols. My research is focused on the role of urban vegetation as main source of bioaerosols in urban areas and the impact of them in the quality of breathable air as well as the role of bioaerosols (fragments) as cloud and ice condensation nuclei. I have developed some tools to assess the allergenicity of a single tree or a green area that can be of help when designing green spaces of low allergenic impact. I Coordinate the working group on urban on periurban forests, SilvaMediterranea as branch of FAO, and I am Vice-president of the Spanish Association of Public Parks and Gardens.
