Professor of Clinical Immunology at Karolinska Institutet. Marianne van Hage’s research focuses on respiratory and food allergy – from molecular mechanisms to improved diagnosis and therapy as well as to prediction. She has been active in the field of molecular allergology for many years.

She has given prestigious lectures, received several awards and has been elected member of Academia Europae. She is member of the Scientific Boards of the Konsul Th C Bergh and of the Magnus Bergvall Foundations, and Board member of the King Gustaf V’s 80 Years Foundation. In addition, she is member of the Advisory Board of EBioMedicine, Associate Editor of Frontiers in Allergy and member of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Marianne van Hage is author of more than 380 original scientific articles, reviews, editorials and book chapters, published or in the process of publication in international journals or books.
