Maria Bova graduated in 2001with an MD degree from the University of Naples. Specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology in 2005 at the University of Naples. She spent some months as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. In 2009 she received a PhD in clinical and experimental pathophysiology from the University of Naples focused on treating patients with hereditary angioedema. Since 2006 she has worked as a Medical Officer in the Internal Medicine department at Sarno Hospital, Salerno; since 2021 medical officer at AORN Cardarelli, Naples. Since 2010 Medical consultant at CISI (Centro Interdipartimentale di Ricerca in Scienze Immunologiche di Base e Cliniche)- University of Naples Federico II. She is a lecturer in the Physiopathology of Allergic Diseases for Specialization in Clinical Immunology and Allergy at University of Naples Federico II. She has been a co- investigator on many clinical studies.
