EAACI Congress 2023 Back

Magdalena Zemelka-Wiacek is currently an assistant professor at the Department and Clinical Immunology at the Wroclaw Medical University, Poland. She completed her Ph.D. in Allergy and Immunology at Jagiellonian University Medical College, Krakow, Poland. She is the immediate European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Knowledge Hub Deputy Editor (2022-ongoing) and a Board Member of Working Group (WG) Epidemiology (2023-2024). She is the “Allergy” Reviewer Board Member. He is an assistant promotor of two doctoral theses.

Dr. Zemelka’s research has focused on immune tolerance mechanisms, especially in the allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT) model. She contributes to EAACI position papers on the management of allergic and immune-mediated diseases and environmental.
