I am a researcher at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, currently I work as the head of the Department of Paediatrics, Katowice, Poland . I am a specialist in Allergology and Pediatrics. For over 30 years, the subject of my scientific research and clinical observations has been food allergy in children, the influence of the environment on the course of bronchial asthma, the influence of the intestinal vagina of the mother on the development of allergies in newborns and infants, assessment of the risk of allergies in children based on the expression of CD45RO / RA lymphocytes and CD30+ in newborns, the role of intestinal microflora in food allergy. Currently, the research topic is the impact of e-cigarettes on the course of bronchial asthma in children. The clinical center in which I work has been cooperating with the Department of Allergology and Clinical Immunology in Łódź, the Department of Paediatrics, Allergology in Bialystok, the Department of Mycobiology in Zabrze.
