James is a senior lecturer at the national heart and lung institute. His team study the immune responses following respiratory infection and inflammation and how they influence lung health. In particular they have focused on the development of local and systemic antibody after viral or allergic exposure, and these are influenced to produce protective or pathogenic outcomes.
