Ignacio J Dávila (ORCID: 0000-0001-8485-5513) is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Salamanca and Head of the Allergy Service at the University Hospital of Salamanca. He has published more than 225 indexed articles (H-index 44; 5820 citations, Google Scholar). His main research fields are genetics and epigenetics of allergic diseases, nasosinusal polyposis, asthma, and drug allergy. He is also the President-elect of the Spanish Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology. He has been the IP of multiple projects and competitive national contracts. He is Associate Editor of the JIACI (IF: 7.033), and a reviewer of several D1 scientific publications. He has been a lecturer or chairperson in more than 100 congresses and meetings. He is also a member-at-large of the European Union of Medical Specialties, allergology section. He has been Editor of the two editions of the Treatise on Allergology, the leading textbook on Allergology in Spanish.
