I am currently working as a post-doctoral fellow at Sidra medicine. I have more than 12 years of experience in the field of molecular biology, physiology, transcription biology, cancer biology, obesity, and pediatric asthma. Currently, I am working on projects focusing on identifying novel biomarkers associated with different endotypes of pediatric asthma in Qatar using metabolomics, lipidomics, genomics, epigenetics, and transcriptomics approaches. I hold a Ph. D. degree in cell and molecular biology from the Department of Biological and Environmental sciences, Qatar University, Qatar, where I worked on understanding the role of an epigenetic enzyme, Protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5) in WNT/b-CATENINE signaling in breast cancer.
