Frank Blanco Pérez
Frank Blanco-Pérez is a postdoctoral researcher in the Paul Ehrlich Institut (PEI) in Langen, Germany. He got his PhD at the Goethe University at Frankfurt am Main on the patho-mechanisms behind experimental murine allergic enteritis. He gained hands-on knowledge in the fields of immune-genetics, cancer, inflammation and allergy. Currently his focus is on studying food allergies, using animal models as a tool for better understanding of the disease and possible therapies. Of particular interest is the effect of dietary fiber supplementation on allergic sensitization and manifestation as well as how this could then extrapolated to the allergic patients.
