EAACI Congress 2023 Back

PhD in Biology, Cristobalina Mayorga is a Senior Investigator in the group of Allergic Diseases to Drugs and Allergens of the Institute of Biomedicine of Malaga (IBIMA) chosen as a WAO Center of Excellence.

Her research focus on developing studies on the immunological mechanisms involved in drug reactions to improve in vitro tests for their evaluation. It has resulted extensive knowledge on the recognition of IgE and the involvement of different cell types that include basophils and lymphocytes. She also study the immune response to food allergens, tolerance induction and the use of nanosystems as AIT.

She belongs to Allergy to Drugs and Diagnostic Interest Groups and the Board of the Basic and Clinical Immunology Section Committee of EAACI. She is a member of the organizing committee of EUROBAT.

She is the principal investigator of projects funded by public agencies and collaborator of European Projects  and an active member of the Spanish Network ARADyAL.
