I am a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association, where I have been working since July 2019. My research primarily focuses on chronic inflammation and allergic diseases, specifically in the field of omics and molecular genetics. I am particularly interested in studying food allergies and the immune response to oral immunotherapy treatments.
My main research interests revolve around systems biology, the application of artificial intelligence in biomedical research, and the genetic basis of the immune system and overall health. I am passionate about investigating the genetic factors influencing human health through various approaches, including genomics, statistics, machine learning, and bioinformatics. By integrating clinical and epidemiological data with diverse omics data from clinical trials and population-based cohorts, my aim is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the underlying mechanisms of human diseases.
